Ioulia GORELOVA coordinates the
biodiversity conservation policy programme at the Biodiversity Conservation
Centre. She is involved in public activities as co-chair of the Council of the
International Socio-Ecological Union, executive secretary of the Russian
National Committee of IUCTV, and official observer of European Environment
Ecoforum in the Council for Pan-European Biological and Landscape Diversity
Strategy (under UNEP and the Council of Europe). She has a master's degree in
soil science and agrochemistry from Moscow State Lomonosov University (1993).
The same year she was admitted to the requalification programme at the Institute
of Management, Moscow State University.
